Ballast regulator blade

This ballast regulator blade is a dedicated track maintenance attachment for wheel & crawler excavators, designed for ballast sorting, slope forming and track bed leveling. It is integrally fabricated from thick wear-resistant alloy steel with a wide flat surface and adjustable side wings controlled by hydraulic cylinders. In one pass, it gathers scattered gravel alongside rails, evenly distributes ballast between sleepers and shapes consistent track bed slopes.

The attachment supports multi-angle lifting and rotation with the excavator arm, adapting perfectly to straight tracks, curves, turnouts and narrow platform edges. Its robust cutting edge resists abrasion and impact from ballast gravel. Equipped with a quick hitch, it can be rapidly interchanged with ballast cleaners, tampers and other railway tools. Widely used in post-sleeper-replacement bed restoration, routine track maintenance and ballast renovation projects, it replaces manual raking, delivers uniform track shaping results and greatly accelerates railway maintenance progress.
